I have been a biomed for almost three years now, and I feel as if our job is a major link in healthcare, but we have alot of different equipment but limited places to find service and user manuals. Also we are asked what type of equipment to buy and the cost of that equipment, if its used how do you know its a fair price? I think we can use this web site to create a deposit of user manuals and start some kind of Blue Book for used medical equipment. I want to know what the community thinks about this idea, and how we can make our jobs easier for us?

I like the blue book Idea. Every piece of equipment could have it's own page and the blue book info could be some of the info on that page. There might be a problem with the manuals because they are copyrighted. You may be able to get permission from the vendor though. Thanks for the input.
