Certified Healthcare Technology Manager (CHTM is an ICC Certification for Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMETs) is a formal recognition by the International Certification Commission for Clinical Engineering and Biomedical Technology (ICC) individuals who have demonstrated excellence in engineering, business, and healthcare principles to design, construct, maintain, or manage medical devices or systems.
A HTM is a clinical engineer manager or clinical engineer director that is responsible for planning and directing the activities of other healthcare technology management professionals, monitoring their work, and taking corrective action when necessary.
ETA International also offers Certified Service Manager (CSM) certification.
