An Analyzer, Coagulation is a laboratory instrument used to performing diagnostic clot testing. Fibrinogen (a soluble plasma glycoprotein, synthesised by the liver, that is converted by thrombin into fibrin during blood coagulation), Prothrombin Time (PTs), -Abnormal Coagalation Fibrinogen Dysfunction test (TTs), Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time (APTTs), factors, saline dilutions, International Normalized Ratio (INR) and many more laboratory tests can be effectively performed with these instruments.

Clinical Use

Coagulation Analyzers are mainly used for monitoring patients on Warfarin (also known under the brand names Coumadin, Jantoven, Marevan, Lawarin, Waran, and Warfant) anticoagulation therapy [Clotting assays].
